this pendant lighting collection is an exploration of shape and 3d printing technology. custom 3d print settings in cura achieved the translucent shell which allows light to pass through the pla. joinery was also 3d printed to hold the bulb in place and provide a structure to hang the light using only gravity.

opal light dome
opal is an interactive lighting experience designed to evoke curiosity. each cell was individually attached and fitted with an led ring programmed in arduino.
structure built in rhino + grasshopper. hdpe material routed by CNC. frame built with band saw.
